Job Description:
As a Production Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the conception, design, development, and installation of new products or production lines. This includes improving production processes to make them more cost-effective and efficient over time, resolving technical problems, and selecting precision tools for different machines.
Problem-solving and root cause analysis are essential skills required for this role. You will lead process optimization using engineering and continuous improvement techniques to streamline product flow through the manufacturing cell. Additionally, you will use industrial engineering techniques and company standards to establish resource requirements and material flow.
The ideal candidate will analyze product structures and processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs. They will also perform Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize manufacturing cell performance and ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949 standards in the manufacturing area.
You will oversee the work of technicians and all personnel, establish effective work sequences to maximize efficiency, and ensure staff adhere to manufacturer procedures when operating equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline
* Working knowledge of automation and assembly processes, laser welding systems, robotics, and dispense systems
* Validation lifecycle and Six Sigma problem-solving experience
* Supervisory experience is an advantage
