Join our Maintenance team at our Edmonton refinery.Responsibilities:Identify continuous improvement opportunities for ongoing planning / scheduling activitiesPrepare job plans to include the logical sequencing of associated tasks, taking into account multi-craft alignmentPrepare job plans with the planned cost ready for scheduling detailing parts, materials, special tools, external services and documentationIdentify environmental, health and safety requirementsMaintain and continuously improve job plans and task listsReceive input to update and maintain project schedules, at all levels.Exercise judgment and initiative in the analysis of data obtained from a variety of sourcesExceptional collaboration with peer groups, SCM and other stakeholdersModerate to complex decision making required; guided by polices & proceduresApply OEMS practices to all maintenance related operations, and ensure compliance to Suncor standards of safety, and operating integrityMinimum Requirements:5+ years of planning experience/scheduling; maintenance and/or reliability experience in Oil and Gas industryMechanical trade certificate or diploma in a relevant technical field or equivalent technical and operational experienceComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (preferably SAP) and material management systemsUnderstanding of maintenance planning and scheduling concepts as well as maintenance practicesHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to make decisions with integrity and support company objectives and policiesAble to interact with others across a multitude of business units and effectively communicate with them to develop positive working relationshipsStrong planning, organizational and critical thinking skills requiredDemonstrates commitment to EH&S culture that supports a safe working environmentLocation and other key details:You will work out of our Edmonton refinery in Sherwood Park, located at 801 Petroleum WayHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday at the head office, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needsOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of workWhy Suncor?
