We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Accommodation Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of guest accommodations.
Position Overview:
As our Accommodation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest accommodation and public areas are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for all our guests. You will manage a team of housekeeping staff, while collaborating closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Your leadership and organizational skills will be key in creating a memorable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guest Accommodation Oversight: Ensure that all guest rooms and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with the necessary amenities.
* Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping and maintenance teams to consistently achieve a high level of performance and professionalism.
* Quality Control: Oversee the management of daily accommodation services, conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, ensuring adherence to cleanliness, safety, and comfort standards.
* Guest Relations: Address any guest concerns or special requests regarding their accommodations and ensure prompt resolution.
* Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and control for accommodation-related expenses, including housekeeping supplies, maintenance, and staff rostering.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed in guest rooms and public areas, including fire safety, sanitation, and security standards.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office, Maintenance, and F&B departments to ensure smooth operations and cross-departmental communication.
* Reports & Feedback: Provide regular updates on departmental rosters, purchasing and accommodation quality to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accommodation Manager / Supervisor, in a similar hotel management role.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication & people management skills are essential for this role.
* Solid understanding of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest queries with professionalism and tact.
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and service standards.
* Knowledge of rostering, budgeting and cost control procedures.
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
