Offshore delivery is critical to Ireland including the achievement of our renewable targets and to continuation of sustainable economic growth for the country.The role involves the project management and project engineering of technically complex, large scale offshore projects – on‑time and within budget, adhering to established governance and controls. The role holders will work on projects across their entire life cycle – from project initiation, through construction, commissioning/user acceptance testing, go live and right up to project close/lessons learnt.The TeamThe Chief Transformation & Technology Office (CTTO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid. It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.About youEngineering degree or equivalent, typically with 6 years relevant experience with a holistic understanding of the power industryProven experience of managing a portfolio of large‑scale asset management projects – overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomesPassionate, engaging with a drive and enthusiasm to deliver on the company strategy with and through othersExcellent communicator, able to articulate technical concepts and analysis to non‑technical audiences and business leadersAbility to coach and develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environmentExpertise in conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the wayStrong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the transmission system and associated developmentsCommercial awareness with strong vendor management skillsClosing date for applicationsClosing date is 27th March 2026We value potential as much as experience.
