Performance Test Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and analyzing performance testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications.
Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing performance testing scripts and automation tools. You will also identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance bottlenecks in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
In addition, you will integrate performance testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. You will assist with diagnosing and resolving production performance issues, as well as mentor and guide junior testers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
* 10+ years of experience in performance engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
* Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, or Selenium.
* Deep understanding of APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
* Proven expertise in performance analysis for Java-based applications, containerized or serverless environments, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), JavaScript-based front-end systems.
* Solid knowledge of both Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
* Experience working with AWS and integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines.
* Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, along with SQL and version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
