Overview
Based in Ballinasloe, Galway, LauraLynn Children's Hospice Community Team is recruiting Staff Nurses for opportunities working in the family home/community.
The role provides care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and palliative care needs and their families in the family home/community environment in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice.
Hours and Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full & Part-time available, shift start and end times may vary)
Contract Type: Permanent
Grade: Staff Nurse
Salary: Staff Nurse €37,288 to €55,477 or Enhanced Staff Nurse €44,311 - €57,273

Responsibilities
* Provide care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and palliative care needs and their families in the family home/community.
Essential Criteria
* Fully registered with the NMBI.
* RCN's require a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience working in a paediatric setting, preferably an acute setting.
* RGN's/RNID's require a minimum of 5 years' experience, working in a paediatric setting.
* Working knowledge of information technology.
* Experience of working within an interdisciplinary team.
* Ability to work independently.
* Full clean driving licence.
