Responsibilities
* Review fund‑related reports provided by Investment Managers, Administrators and Depositaries.
* Track developments in markets to understand the implications for Waystone UCITS and AIFMD fund ranges.
* Analyze the investment performance of Waystone client portfolios for the Management Company (both UCITS and AIFMD).
* Draft documentation for monthly review by Waystone Investment Oversight Committee.
* Participate in regular calls with world‑leading Investment Managers.
* Prepare investment commentary for Fund Boards.
* Monitor and manage ESG/SFDR reporting by funds.
* Evaluate new fund proposals and highlight key factors to decide approval.
* Undertake research across a variety of investment fund topics as requested by Senior Management.
Education
* An internationally recognized professional third level qualification.
* A professional qualification (finance/accounting, CFA charter holder or candidate, CAIA); or working towards.
Experience
* 2+ years of experience in fund management / ManCo / Investment / Asset management industry (or equivalent).
* Experience analysing the investment performance of client portfolios for a Management Company (both UCITS and AIFMD) and/or fund performance measurement and attribution.
* Experience within a variety of investment asset classes. Knowledge of CP86, UCITS & AIFMD, European/Central Bank of Ireland fund regulations is desirable.
* Understanding of ESG in the context of investment will be favourably considered.
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Experience with Bloomberg, Power BI, R, Python or similar would be beneficial.
* Clarity of analysis and of expression, both written and oral.
* A commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
* Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
