About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grocery Buyer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for food, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing short and long-term plans for their buying categories, managing the range assortment to ensure our product offering is market leading, and working closely with suppliers to ensure high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing category plans to meet sales and margin targets
* Managing the range assortment to ensure Dunnes Stores product offering is market leading
* Working with suppliers to negotiate prices and secure new business
* Collaborating with other business functions to ensure seamless delivery of category plans
Requirements:
* 2 years+ Section Buying Experience
* Third-level qualification - Food or a Business related qualification desired
* Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
* Ideal candidates will have a passion for food and emerging trends
