I'm currently working with a professional services firm that is expanding its finance function and looking to hire a reliable Bookkeeper. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing business with international reach.
About the Company:
My client is a strategic advisory firm that works with clients across multiple industries. Established in 2015, they've built a reputation for delivering hands-on, commercial expertise and continue to grow both locally and internationally. With a grounded and results-driven culture, they're now looking to bring in a Bookkeeper to support day-to-day operations as they transition to a new finance system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Invoicing:
Issue approx. 30 invoices weekly
Post invoices accurately to the accounting system
Liaise with consultants to ensure correct billing
2. Accounts Payable:
Process supplier invoices and manage approval workflows
Set up and process weekly payments
Maintain accurate records
3. Credit Control:
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients (approx. 0.5 day/week)
4. Finance Admin:
Provide general finance-related admin support
Assist with internal documentation and record keeping
5. System Implementation:
Support the migration to Iplicit accounting software
What They're Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance admin role
2. Strong working knowledge of Iplicit or similar systems
3. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
4. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
5. Experience supporting a system migration is a plus
