Senior Civil Engineer Cork City Full Time Permanent, Flexitime. Mon-Thurs in Office, Friday remote & 1pm Finish €55k-€65k DOE Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy that has delivered landmark projects across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join their Cork office and play a key role in the delivery of complex and high-profile projects across the region. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise combined with leadership capability and a collaborative mindset. You will ideally have: 5+ years post-qualification experience in civil and/or structural engineering in Ireland A relevant third-level engineering qualification Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory standards Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit (beneficial but not essential) Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and project teams Be based in Cork or open to relocation A motivated, career-driven approach with a desire for long-term progression The Role As a senior member of the engineering team, you will take ownership of projects from early design through to completion, while contributing to the strategic growth of the Cork office. Responsibilities will include: Leading and managing civil and structural design projects across multiple sectors Overseeing project budgets, programmes, and deliverables to ensure high technical and commercial standards Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and graduate team members Attending site visits and liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers on technical matters Ensuring all designs comply with Eurocodes and relevant Irish standards Contributing to technical reports, proposals, and project documentation Playing an active role in the ongoing development and expansion of the Cork office
