Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Physiotherapist/Physiotherapist to join our dedicated and collaborative team, providing exceptional care to specialist palliative care patients in Cork. As a vital member of their multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic physiotherapy services that address the complex physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our patients.
In this key role, you will play an active part in the advanced assessment and treatment of individuals with complex and/or chronic conditions, working autonomously to determine clinical diagnoses and develop tailored physiotherapy interventions. You will support the Physiotherapy Manager in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our physiotherapy service, contributing to ongoing professional development and the promotion of excellence in care across the organisation. All aspects of your work will reflect the values, policies, and procedures of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, directly supporting our mission to provide outstanding, person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- CORU registration
- Experience working with older persons is an advantage
- Proven ability to manage a case load independently and works well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
