Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving contract documents, preparing cost reports for clients, managing subcontract and material procurement schedules, administering subcontractor/supplier accounts, and maintaining project margin.
About the Role
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors
* Review and approve contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for clients, highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks
* Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, ensuring prompt payment and resolving any disputes that may arise
* Maintain project margin by identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing effective solutions
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and able to learn new software quickly
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
