Procurement Specialist Job Description
This role is a key position in our client's Dublin office, where they import, assemble and distribute agricultural machinery through a network of 40 independent dealers.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing new and replacement parts from current suppliers, maintaining good relationships with all suppliers to ensure clear communications, and negotiating with current suppliers to get the best value and delivery agreements at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing new products from global suppliers, improving on quality, costs and delivery.
* Maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring clear communications.
* Negotiating with suppliers for optimal deals and delivery agreements.
* Liaising with Warehouse Manager and marketing teams to ensure product availability and correct advertising.
You must have a proven track record of working in a busy sourcing or purchasing environment, preferably in the agri-related parts industry. Experience of international sourcing and purchasing procedures is also essential.
