OverviewFull-time, PermanentOpen to international candidates and relocation supportWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established international engineering contractor delivering large-scale mechanical and process projects across Ireland.Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Engineer to join their site-based construction team and support the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical installations.This role is ideal for engineers with experience in piping, HVAC, mechanical construction or process industry projects, especially within data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or high-tech environments.This is a hands-on, site-focused role with strong exposure to construction execution, safety and coordination.Key responsibilitiesSupport the on-site delivery of mechanical and piping installationsEnsure works are executed safely in line with site and client safety requirementsPrepare and review RAMS and Method StatementsCoordinate prefabrication activities with workshops and suppliersGenerate and manage work scope documentation and technical specificationsPrepare bills of quantities, raise material requisitions and track deliveriesLiaise with subcontractors, supervisors and client representativesReview designs for constructability and raise RFIs where requiredMonitor site progress, quality and compliance with specificationsSupport testing, commissioning and handover documentationAssist with cost tracking, variations and change managementMaintain accurate project records and reportingParticipate in site inspections, walkdowns and snag managementProfileDegree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or related fieldMinimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical construction or process industry projectsExperience in piping fabrication, installation and testing is highly valuedExposure to data centre, pharma or industrial projects is a plusGood understanding of site-based construction processesStrong safety awareness and quality mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced site environmentStrong communication and coordination skillsEnglish level B2 or higher requiredEU passport or eligibility for work permit in Ireland is mandatoryWhat’s on offerLong-term projects across IrelandCompetitive salary and packageOpportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projectsCareer progression within a growing international contractorApplyIf you are a Project Engineer with mechanical or piping experience and open to working in Ireland, we would like to hear from you.Apply with your CV.
