We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Care Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on a leadership role in providing high-quality care to residents with complex needs.

About the Role:

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of residents, ensuring that their individual needs are met and that they receive the best possible care. This will involve working closely with the home manager, deputy manager, and other senior members of the management team to develop and implement care plans.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience of working with residents who have dementia or physical frailties. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and develop a team of staff and work effectively with families and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

* To ensure adherence to the NMC code of conduct in all areas of care and practice
">
* To promote and encourage personal independence and choice for residents
">
* To take part in any associated training activities to ensure clinical competencies
">
* To manage and coordinate the care of residents, including medication administration
">
* To provide support and guidance to junior staff members
">
* To contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
">
* To maintain accurate records and reports
">
* To participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
">
* To ensure a safe and stimulating environment for residents
">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

Essential Criteria:

">
">
* Registered Nurse qualification
">
* Evidence of continuing professional development linked to clinical competencies
">
* 6 months post-registration experience
">
* Experience of coordinating and managing resident care
">
* Previous experience of working with residents with dementia
">
* Experience of handling clinical incidents and complaints
">
* Good knowledge of health and social care legislation
">
* Able to motivate and develop a team of staff
">
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
">
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
">
* Basic IT skills
">
* Genuine interest and desire to meet the care needs of people with dementia and physical frailties
">
