Mechanical Project Engineer Mayo €*****k
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading M&E Contractor where you will be part of a team working on a wide range of building services disciplines across numerous sectors.
The successful candidate will be working alongside developers, project managers, contractors and end-user clients overseeing projects from feasibility and design through to construction.
This role will be based out of Mayo and covering projects across the wider Connaught area so a company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities
Ensure Mechanical projects are delivered to meet safety standards and regulations
Maintain planning and cost control on the mechanical scope of works
Ensure areas of responsibility are delivered on time, within budget to agreed standards
Identify risks and ensure mitigation measures are put in place.
Effectively manage sub-contractors as well as team performance on the project
Support the project manager to ensure the project budget and costs are managed effectively for all services
Commissioning and final handover take responsibility to ensure projects are delivered effectively
Qualifications
Recognised Mechanical/Building Services qualification
2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer
Able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of M&E systems
Confident in talking to a wide range of people to build relationships
Understanding of Revit and BIM principles
Must be a good team player but able to work independently
Confident communicator both verbally and in writing
