Job Description
Rottguard Fire Systems Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer – Fire Systems to support the Managing Director in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of fire suppression systems across Ireland.
The role involves hands-on technical work both on-site and in the workshop, supporting fire system installations, system preparation, servicing activities, and project delivery in line with company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems
* Support system testing, inspections, and commissioning activities
* Assist with routine maintenance and fault identification
* Prepare and handle fire system components and cylinders in line with safety procedures
* Travel to project sites and assist with on-site works
* Support workshop and store organisation, tools, and stock control
* Complete basic service documentation and job reports
* Comply with all health, safety, and fire regulations
Skills & Experience Required
* Technical background in maintenance, electronics, or engineering support roles
* Experience assisting with installations or servicing of technical systems
* Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
* Good organisational and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small specialist team
* Willingness to complete required Irish safety training (e.g. Safe Pass)
Qualifications
* Technical qualification in Electronics, Engineering, or related discipline
* Fire safety or maintenance-related training is an advantage
