Job Summary
A Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a facility, ensuring that all assets are well-maintained and services are operational.
* Leading a team to ensure efficient and safe facility management.
* Coordinating building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion.
* Managing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing facility management strategies and plans.
* Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
* Manages and supervises contractors, ensuring end-to-end safety and compliance (inclusive of RAMS packages, purchase orders, and contractual documents).
* Proven leadership and people management skills.
* Experience in managing budgets, vendors, and service providers.
* High level of proficiency with MS Office and Data analytics.
* An astute problem solver with excellent organisational and resourceful skills.
* Dynamic team player with strong leadership skills.
* Experienced in facility management systems, including ERP, BMS, Energy, Contractor management.
* High level of proficiency in MS Office and Data analytics.
* Craft-trained and certified via apprenticeship ideally in a mechanical or electrical discipline or qualified in a Science/Technology/Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Automation) or related discipline is preferred.
* Minimum of 4 years relevant experience ideally within Operations functions.
