Project Manager (Medical Devices)
Location & Work Mode:
* Based in Galway, Ireland
* Permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement
Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will lead various projects, including:
* Product or technology development.
* Moderate-sized site transfers/acquisitions.
* Acting as a site representative for broader global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead medium/large cross-functional teams.
* Manage technical challenges, risks, and solutions in technology application and product development.
* Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and budgets.
* Build team ownership and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
* Follow applicable project roadmaps (e.g., NPI, product transfer).
* Represent Operations in phase reviews and ensure adherence to policies.
* Conduct business reviews and maintain project documentation (e.g., minutes, metrics).
Skills & Requirements:
Essential:
* Strong experience managing large, complex, cross-functional or multisite projects.
* Leadership in change and project management.
* Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
Education:
* Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science, Software, or Manufacturing).
* 5+ years of project management in Operations or New Product Development.
* Medical device experience preferred.
Desirable:
* Level 9 Master’s degree or Project Management qualification.
Additional Information:
* Travel to other sites may be required.
