Driver - Full Time
Fixed Term Contract
(Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm approx)
Salary: The 9 point salary scale for the post as of 01/08/2025.
New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.
Horizons is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the positions of a Full Time Driver (fixed term contract) in Cork city and county.
Applicants must possess the following:
* A full clean D/D1 licence
* Current CPC certification at the time of application (Documentary evidence of same should be included with the application).
* Good communication and people skills
* Initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
* Good organisational skills
Experience working with vulnerable people including those with autism or intellectual disabilities would be an advantage.
