Business Partner Role

The Business Partner is an integral part of the Human Resources team for a client based in Sligo, Ireland. This role requires strong interaction with employees and management through various communication platforms.

This position involves partnering with the Site Leadership Team to understand the business needs and translate them into HR initiatives on site. Key areas of focus include talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, and compensation.

Talent Acquisition:

Partner with People Managers & Leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Ensure active sourcing of candidates for specialized positions in functional areas.

Employee Relations:

Act as a primary point of contact for employees and people managers/leaders to address HR-related inquiries and resolve issues. Manage and resolve employee relations issues through thorough investigations when necessary.

Performance Management:

Guide and support people managers/leaders in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback. Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

Training and Development:

Work with Regional HR Manager & L&D Manager to identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs. Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and career planning.

Compensation and Benefits:

Support the annual merit review process. Advise management on policy interpretation, job evaluation, and compliance. Stay updated on employment law changes and best practices.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, ideally within pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry.
* Experience in multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and training.
* Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
