The Accounts Assistant role is a vital part of our finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with maintaining sales ledgers and supporting purchases ledgers, utilizing your expertise in accounts and reconciliation to drive success.
A key aspect of this role is reconciling customer accounts, communicating with customers regarding overdue accounts, and accurately processing payments against invoices. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be invaluable in resolving payment discrepancies and addressing any irregularities or enquiries.
You will also play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts, collaborating closely with the Customer Service team to provide accounts support, and contributing to daily cash reconciliation and posting to the nominal ledger.
In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, investigate and resolve complex issues, and contribute to the overall success of the finance team.
