Location: Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandUp to €90,000Senior Planner – ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full project readiness.Work with stakeholders to manage commercial implications of project‑plan adjustments, including extensions of time, compressed programmes, and resource scheduling changes.Develop and maintain detailed project plans for data cabling and infrastructure installations.Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.Conduct site surveys and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and floor plans.Coordinate procurement call‑off schedules to ensure site teams receive key materials and hardware on time to maintain the critical path.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and client specifications.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across the full project lifecycle.Attend project kick‑off meetings and conduct site visits as required.Monitor working hours and project costs to identify trends and assist in forecasting.Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, variations, and additional work orders.Coordinate resources, activities, and schedules to deliver projects within approved budgets and aligned with design and estimating teams.Support the development of project timetables and scheduling frameworks.Assist in reviewing estimated design costs, including materials, equipment, labour, installation, and preparation requirements.Coordinate with all involved parties to ensure projects are completed on schedule and in compliance with regulatory, health, and safety requirements.What We’re Looking ForStrong communication and collaboration skills.Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.Ability to work in a hybrid office arrangement.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Clear understanding of commercial and contractual interfaces related to project planning.Hands‑on experience using varied planning techniques for both tendering and project delivery.Experience in infrastructure planning or project coordination within data cabling, structured cabling, or similar technical environments.Good understanding of structured cabling systems, data centre environments, and network infrastructure.Proficient in planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or similar).Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ECS, BICSI, CNCI or equivalent) beneficial but not essential.Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
