Job Overview
The role of Maintenance Technician is to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This includes performing rebuilds on machines and infrastructure, troubleshooting/repairing equipment and machinery, following a preventative maintenance schedule, and maintaining inventory and ordering new tools as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carry out complex repairs and replacements on machines and equipment
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and systems
* Identify and rectify faults in equipment and machinery
* Manage and maintain accurate records of work completed and tools used
Requirements:
* Possession of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or trade qualification
* Relevant experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with Maximo Asset Management system

* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and record-keeping skills
* Able to lift 25kg and work at heights
