Job Summary
This role is responsible for high volume manufacturing operations within a state of the art medical device business. The business is well established with a wide client portfolio and strong pipeline. They are seeking an experienced Production / Manufacturing leader able to oversee day to day production of 100+ employees across clean room environments.
Experience
At least 5 years' high volume manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience in a medical device or plastics or plastic packaging business, ideally with knowledge of injection moulding manufacturing. Able to establish standards of performance, measure results, analyse workflow and troubleshoot problems.
Skills
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Able to analyse performance data and present actionable insights.
Able to influence and collaborate with all levels of the business.
A results-driven approach with a knack for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Good understanding of lean manufacturing.
Role Responsibilities
Maintain a safe environment, enforce safety procedures/policies.
Manage the performance of the production facility, including resourcing, manpower, and efficiency.
Monitor production data (downtime, waste, non-conformances) and implement solutions.
Monitor plant performance by shift, creating goals and reviewing tracking metrics.
Implement and uphold ISO 13485 standards, ensuring GMP compliance and product quality
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
