The Role
Mechanical Fitter Job Description:
* We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in carrying out preventative maintenance on a wide range of plant and equipment.
Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults, performing breakdown repairs and getting equipment back into service as soon as possible. Inspections of returned hire plant will also be required.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To carry out routine servicing and inspections of heavy plant and construction equipment.
2. To diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems failures using technical drawings & manuals, wiring diagrams etc., with the aid of diagnostic tools hand tools power tools etc.
* Able to read complex instructions specifications diagrams guidelines etc. Valid Safe Pass INDCAT1 qualification is essential for this role since it requires possession valid driving license ability operate company vehicles ensure compliance safety standards when working at heights confined spaces areas exposed risk e.g fall protection or HSE procedures...
