About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced manager to lead a team of professionals in providing high-quality services to adults with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of management experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
The role involves overseeing the delivery of residential, outreach, respite, and day services across 13 different sites, ensuring that all aspects of service provision meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The Area Service Manager will be responsible for managing a budget, leading a team of staff, and developing strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements:
* A nursing qualification or relevant third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector.
* Current registration with the NMBI or relevant third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector.
* A minimum of 5 years' management experience in the Health Sector.
* Proficiency in the Irish language (the service will support development of proficiency if needed).
* Full clean Irish manual driving licence.

Working Hours:
The contracted hours of work are liable to change between the hours of 8am - 8pm over seven days to meet the requirements of the programme. The roster varies in order to meet the needs of the service and accordingly you are required to be flexible in regard to your working hours.
Participation in on-call roster is an essential part of this post.
