My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Systems Administrator to join the team. This role is hybrid working. This role will focus on the management and maintenance of Windows and Active Directory systems across the organization. Expertise in patch management, software deployment, and installation image management using SCCM, Intune, and Auto Patch is essential. Experience managing Entra ID and Azure is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement security remediations and follow best practice recommendationsMaintain and monitor Active Directory and Azure Active DirectoryPerform system and application patchingAssist with deployment and upkeep of IT infrastructure (VMware & Hyper-V experience is advantageous)Document new and existing IT infrastructure and related proceduresDeploy applications and updates using IntuneManage devices via IntuneDeploy secure server and laptop imagesOversee Autopilot deployment systemEnsure BCP/DR plans include restoration of Windows infrastructure and are tested regularlyDevelop automation tools using PowerShell for operational tasksMaintain full patch compliance across the Windows estate, including troubleshooting and remediationBuild and release deployment packages using SCCM/IntuneConduct patch dependency checks and submit change requestsPerform system changes to address vulnerabilitiesManage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Intune policies in alignment with internal standardsAdminister Domain ControllersParticipate in a shift-based schedule covering 8am–6pm, Monday to FridayParticipate in an on-call rotationKey Skills & CompetenciesProficient in managing Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory systemsExperienced in patch deployment and endpoint compliance (SCCM and Intune)Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global working environmentAdaptable and motivated to learn new technologiesStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesFamiliarity with Qualys is a plusExperience with GxP environments is advantageous but not essentialPowerShell scripting proficiencyQualificationsMinimum of 2–3 years' experience in a similar roleDegree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline preferredRelevant Microsoft certifications are a plusValid driver's license and own transport required
