Opportunity to lead a high-volume convenience retail store in Ireland as Store Manager. The successful candidate should have managerial experience within the industry, preferably in a forecourt environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales, service, productivity, and maintain excellent standards throughout the store
2. Manage all aspects of day-to-day business operations, ensuring the team is motivated, objectives are achieved, and standards are high
3. Grow existing business and initiate improvements, ensuring sales, margin, and targets are met
4. Ensure management team is trained to the highest standard
5. Handle staffing issues including onboarding, termination processes, recruitment, selection, conducting appraisals, and performance reviews
6. Maintain merchandising and presentation of the store to the highest standard
7. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and other legal requirements
8. Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with company values
9. Demonstrate accuracy and punctuality with reporting
10. Practice excellent stock control and management processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven ability to manage retail sales teams (Ideally Forecourt)
* Strong planning and organizing capabilities
* Excellent operational knowledge of the retail environment
* Outstanding interpersonal relations
* Strong understanding of consumer needs and commitment to store standards
* Proven track record in achieving agreed KPIs and targets
* Self-motivated with excellent team motivation skills
* Ability to work in a pressurized environment
