About the Role
At Reade Recruitment one of our premium clients are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing project lifecycles from inception to completion while ensuring quality, safety, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-value construction projects.
* Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Stakeholder & Client Management
* Act as the senior point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication and delivery excellence.
* Provide regular reports and updates to directors and stakeholders.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
* Take full ownership of project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Implement strategies to maximize profitability and value.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
* Uphold the highest standards of safety across all project phases.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance and risk management.
Team Management & Development
* Lead, mentor, and support project teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Identify and develop future leaders within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
* Minimum
7 years' experience
in construction project management, including civils and large-scale complex builds.
* Proven track record of delivering projects valued at €20M+.
* Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Chartership or professional accreditation (CIOB, RICS, PMI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
