We are seeking a
skilled and detail-oriented Tax Specialist
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions particularly in
Europe (Ireland, the UK, Romania, Malta)
and the
United States
and a solid understanding of international tax regulations and compliance frameworks.

As our Tax Specialist, you'll play a key role in safeguarding our global operations, optimizing tax efficiency, and ensuring compliance with evolving international regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage tax compliance across U.S. and European entities, ensuring timely and accurate filings in all jurisdictions, working with existing service providers to ensure necessary and accurate returns are made.
* Identify and communicate tax risks and commercial solutions, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
* Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, assessing their impact and advising on compliance adjustments.
* Prepare and submit corporate, VAT, and other applicable tax returns, maintaining organized records for audits and reviews, alongside service providers where necessary
* Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Payroll teams to integrate tax considerations into financial planning and reporting.
* Support and coordinate responses during tax audits, inquiries, and regulatory reviews.
* Develop and advise on tax planning and optimization strategies aligned with business goals.
* Liaise with external advisors and consultants to address complex or cross-border tax issues.
* Continuously improve internal tax processes and systems, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
* Provide guidance and training to internal finance staff on key tax matters.
* Establish and strengthen the company's global tax framework, supporting future growth and scalability
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in tax compliance and reporting, ideally across multiple international jurisdictions.
* Hands-on experience with either U.S. or European tax systems (both preferred).
* Working knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and efficiently.
* Professional certifications such as CPA or ACA are a plus but not required.
