Ryevale Nursing Home is seeking a warm, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our dedicated care team. This is a key front-of-house role, providing a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting residents, families, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner
* Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
* Maintaining visitor sign-in procedures in line with nursing home policies
* Carrying out general administrative and clerical duties
* Handling confidential information in compliance with GDPR
* Working with household and catering managers to order and maintain stock levels of food and nursing care consumables.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, professional, and discreet manner
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience working in a nursing home or healthcare environment
* Knowledge of HIQA standards and procedures
