THE ROLE
We're looking for a Customer Success Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis.
You'll be the primary point of contact for our school customers, managing implementation, onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
You'll work closely with school leadership teams to ensure they get maximum value from AskArk, while executing established processes and workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing school onboarding from sales handoff through full implementation
- Training school staff (leadership teams, teachers, admin) on AskArk features and best practices
- Providing ongoing technical and product support to school customers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key school contacts
- Documenting customer feedback and identifying implementation challenges
- Working approximately one day per week on-site at schools; remainder remote
- Contributing to continuous improvement of our customer success processes
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You must have a background in the education sector—either classroom teaching experience or previous work in an edtech company.
You understand how schools operate, the pressures school leaders face, and the regulatory environment they navigate (especially around data protection and safeguarding).
Essential qualities:
- 2+ years experience in education (classroom, school leadership, or edtech)
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple school relationships simultaneously
- Proactive problem-solver who can execute established processes independently
- Understanding of GDPR, data protection, and safeguarding in an educational context
- Based in Ireland (essential for occasional on-site visits)
- Comfortable with CRM systems and productivity tools
Desirable:
- Previous customer success, account management, or implementation experience
- Experience with school MIS systems or educational technology platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in education
