The Role/Location
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Regional Facilities Manager to join our expanding Facilities Management (FM) department.
Reporting to the Associate Director within the FM team, you will oversee the daily delivery of FM services across a diverse mixed-use portfolio in Dublin. You will lead a team of direct reports, utilizing market-leading technology to provide advice and guidance on core Facilities Management issues, supporting the business in creating a sustainable future for our portfolio and its occupants.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, client-focused, collaborative, motivational, confident in decision-making, and adaptable to challenges. A strong enthusiasm for technology will be essential to manage a fast-paced, multi-site environment that is customer-facing.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Oversee technical facilities management operations across a portfolio
* Manage and support the central FM team and department objectives
* Conduct annual Performance Development Reviews for staff
* Manage budgets and identify growth opportunities
* Ensure operational reporting systems and safety audits are maintained
* Manage lifecycle and project works
* Evaluate contractual relationships and ensure service quality
* Address service delivery issues promptly
* Support business development and contract retention
* Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenditures
* Manage documentation related to contractors
* Represent Savills at client meetings
* Coordinate internal teams for effective communication
* Collaborate with Property Management to control costs
* Implement cost-efficient and sustainable operations
* Develop reporting processes
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in Facilities Management
* Relevant degree or professional qualification, or equivalent experience
* Experience implementing service strategies in developments
* Leadership skills with effective communication and motivation abilities
* Passion for technology and market trends
* Strong financial management skills
* Ability to deliver high-quality service and demonstrate sound judgment
* Excellent health & safety awareness
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work as part of a team
* Organizational skills with attention to detail
* Leadership qualities
* Full clean driver’s license
