We are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our Depot. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of freight during night shifts, maintaining depot standards, and leading a high-performing team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a hands-on leader with the ability to motivate a team and deliver results in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience (preferably in logistics, warehousing, or transport).
* Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email, and general reporting platforms (CRM systems desirable).
* Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
* Strong time management and punctuality.
* Excellent safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
* Good knowledge of Irish geography, particularly within depot coverage areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and supervise the night shift to ensure efficient freight removal on Line Haul vehicles.
* Adhere to and promote Health & Safety procedures at all times.
* Ensure the depot consistently meets performance and service KPIs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation across warehouse and working areas.
* Ensure PPE is worn and safety standards are upheld at all times.
* Foster a positive, productive, and safety-focused team environment.
* Motivate team members, assess performance, and implement action plans when needed.
* Perform administrative duties including weekly rota creation, timekeeping tracking, nightly data reports, and other ad hoc tasks as required.
