Your new role
In your new position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and productivity on-site, managing company staff, subcontractors, and all personnel involved in the project. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of our work.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project schedules.
* Assist Project Engineers with the preparation and submission of Quality Assurance documentation aligned with project milestones.
* Manage the Site Office and Stores, ensuring appropriate signage and maintaining housekeeping standards throughout the project.
* Support the Contracts Manager in planning and implementing schedule.
* Handle payroll-related queries, including timesheet verification for site staff.
* Coordinate mechanical services and builders' works drawings.
* Procure materials and confirm plant delivery timelines to match project requirements.
* Ensure all delivery dockets are signed
* Identify and report site variations to the Contracts Manager and assist in documenting these changes.
* Participate in regular site and weekly coordination meetings.
* Ensure all installations meet internal quality standards.
* Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical systems.
* Manage and support the successful close-out of the project.
What you need to succeed
* Demonstrated background in managing on-site operations within the HVAC or mechanical services industry.
* A trade certification in plumbing or a related mechanical field
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong leadership abilities, effective communication, and excellent organisational skills.
* A proactive team contributor with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and meeting project deadlines.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
You will be paid on a competitive hourly rate between €35 to €45 per hour. These are typically paid for 40 hours per week, and you will be paid for any overtime hours worked. This comes out to approximately 70k to 90k when converted to an annual salary. This is open to PAYE and Self-employed workers. It's a great time to join their expanding organisation as you will have great exposure to multi-million-euro projects and grow within to progress to more senior roles.
