What You’ll Do
* Assisting with all aspects of preparation and presentation of food to the Company’s standard and ensuring adherence to legislation including HACCP.
* Serving customers to the Company’s standard, promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and utilizing selling techniques to benefit both the company and the client.
* Carrying out cashier duties when required.
* Receiving any training necessary to maintain and improve the standards of the establishment.
* Ensuring tables and condiments are always kept clean and that condiments are well stocked.
* Assisting in setting and replenishing the food service counters and vending machines as and when required.
* Undertaking all necessary cleaning to the Company’s standard, according to the cleaning rota, or as directed including walls (up to 6 feet), floors, fixtures & fittings, equipment, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc.
* Ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene, cleanliness and neatness and wearing the full Sodexo uniform at all times.
* Complying with statutory and company hygiene regulations in handling and storage of food and beverages.
* Complying with statutory and company regulations in relation to chemical safety.
* Ensuring you always act in the interests of your own safety and the safety of others.
* Carrying out any reasonable request by the management team.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we’ll give you full training!
* Communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
* A focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
