Overview
As the Human Resources Site Leader at TE, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the TE Medical Site Leadership Team and the broader TE Ireland organization. You will have end-to-end accountability for HR strategy, leadership, and execution at the Galway site, ensuring alignment with business priorities, organizational growth, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
Champion TE’s “All In on Safety” culture, ensuring safety is embedded in all people and site activities.
Partner with Site and Irish Leadership Teams to define and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, workforce needs, and organizational growth.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to site leaders and managers on leadership effectiveness, succession planning, and key business initiatives.
Lead all employee and labour relations activities, including works council engagement, investigations, policy governance, and compliance with employment law and TE standards.
Lead site talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession efforts, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of critical skills and capabilities.
Drive effective performance management, talent reviews, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion initiatives aligned with TE values.
Partner with Global Talent Management and leaders to identify and deliver learning and development programs that strengthen organizational capability.
Partner with Total Rewards and Labour Relations teams to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits practices.
Use HR data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and proactively address organizational risks and opportunities.
Lead and support site transformation initiatives, employee engagement actions, and continuous improvement across HR processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) or equivalent experience strongly desirable.
8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR operational role; leadership experience (direct or indirect) strongly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employee and labour relations matters.
Strong business acumen with understanding of operations, customers, markets, and financial KPIs.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, local employment law, and labour relations frameworks.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed, international organization.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
Strong decision‑making capability with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach.
Ability to prioritize effectively and assess organizational and team capacity in a structured manner.
Experience leveraging HR systems and data to drive insights and outcomes.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into impactful people initiatives.
