Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Property Claims Handler to join an expanding Cork-based team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Property and be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial property desktop claims, from investigation to settlement, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures, including data protection and information security.
Responsibilities include:
1. Investigating, negotiating, and settling claims professionally, utilizing desktop investigations and remote video survey apps.
2. Liaising with policyholders, representatives, insurers, and brokers to ensure timely claims resolution.
3. Completing desktop investigations and damage surveys.
4. Producing reports in line with professional standards and internal guidelines within set timescales.
5. Contributing to McLarens’ business development initiatives.
6. Ensuring compliance with time reporting, billing, and internal systems.
7. Participating in projects and marketing activities as needed.
8. Processing and progressing claims of small to medium value promptly and customer-focused, aligned with internal SLAs.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience in the Property claims sector or related fields.
* Strong focus on quality and communication.
* Excellent organizational skills in a customer-focused environment.
* Proven negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
* Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
* Must hold CIP qualification.
