Job Title: Project Manager - Process Improvement Reports to: PMO Process Engineering & Global QA DirectorLocation: Dundalk, Ireland – hybrid work modelOverview of Role:The Project Manager - Process Improvement will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing improvement programs. This role blends strategic project management with hands-on process improvement, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with business leaders, managers, and subject matter experts across locations to design, implement, and sustain best-in-class processes, while embedding a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.What you will do:Lead continuous process improvement initiatives applying Lean and statistical problem-solving techniques. Analyse performance data, identify process gaps, and implement corrective/preventative action plans. Monitor process-related costs and develop cost reduction programs without compromising quality. Identify and drive improvements in processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate improvement programs globally, managing multiple projects and prioritising activities in partnership with the organisational leadership Collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure improvement projects are aligned with strategic goals. Support and motivate improvement teams at all locations, from managers to expert-level staff. Ensure process control standards meet or exceed company and regulatory expectations. Oversee SOP creation, review, and adherence, ensuring NPL compliance. Conduct daily and system audits, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions. Maintain clear, concise technical protocols, reports, and project documentation. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build continuous improvement capability across teams. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are embedded and sustained. Provide leadership and coaching on tools, risk assessment (FMEA), and process capability. What we need from you:Third-level degree in related field. 5+ years' experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing operations environment Proven track record in process improvement and Lean methodologies Strong project management skills, with experience managing cross-location initiatives. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional organisational skills, able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and process improvement tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
