Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Professional to join a dynamic, fast paced accounting, tax and advisory firm. Working closely with the Director of the business, this role will be broad and give the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of projects and sectors with a focus on hospitality, food & beverage.
Due to the continued success and the ambitious growth plans, the firm is now hiring a Commercial Financial Accountant to take ownership of FP&A, budgeting and forecasting for a portfolio of clients. The firm is also expanding into audit services and the successful candidate will assist with the development and growth of this business.
Responsibilities
* Spearhead the management reporting and budgeting needs across the portfolio.
* Ownership of multiple P&Ls, including all budgeting & forecasting models and management reporting.
* Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to cover client short-term and long-term liquidity needs.
* Monitoring ongoing expenditure within quarterly and strategic budgets and monitoring budgets to ensure they fall within the remit of strategic approvals.
* Preparing monthly & quarterly management reporting, including budgetary requests.
* Manage funding requests and ensure debt covenant obligations are met
* Assist the Director to build, manage and develop the audit business while nurturing positive working relationships with clients
* Work closely with the Partner in the development of existing client relationships and development of new business opportunities
Requirements
* Big 4 / Top 10 qualified accountant (with audit experience) with minimum 2-3 years PQE.
* Track record managing multiple engagements with excellent team leadership and communication skills.
* Strong commercial finance, financial planning and modelling experience.
* Ability to form strong relationships with clients.
