Facilities Manager
to join our
Workplace Solutions
team, supporting a leading medical equipment manufacturing site in Swords.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing site, lead a dedicated team, and deliver exceptional facilities services that make a real impact.
What You'll Do
As Facilities Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth delivery of all
hard and soft services
on site. From planned and reactive maintenance to vendor management and space planning, you'll ensure everything runs like clockwork — safely, efficiently, and in line with KPIs and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the on-site team to deliver service excellence.
* Oversee cleaning, maintenance, H&S, event support, and space/move management.
* Manage third-party contractors and ensure compliance with site protocols.
* Ensure GMP Quality System Compliance and audit readiness.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all services.
* Manage budgets, reporting, and financial performance of the contract.
* Support rostering, training, documentation, and reporting processes.
* Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota to support site operations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, proactive leader with a passion for facilities management and a strong background in manufacturing environments.
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Proven experience managing client relationships and leading teams.
* Strong technical knowledge of facilities services in manufacturing.
* Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* English fluency (written and verbal).
Desirable:
* Mechanical or electrical qualification.
* Formal H&S qualification (e.g. IOSH).
* Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001,
* Experience with CMMS systems and service reporting.
