CAD Technician Role Overview
This position involves working with a busy team on major renewal and maintenance projects for railway infrastructure. The CAD Technician will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and reviewing structural drawings using AutoCAD or Revit software.
The role requires the ability to interpret existing structural drawings, surveys, and inspection reports to support refurbishment projects. Additional responsibilities include developing detailed reinforcement designs for railway structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes of practice.
Additionally, the technician will maintain and organise CAD files, engineering records, and project documentation.
