IT Support Professional
We are seeking a skilled IT support professional to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-quality services to our internal teams, focusing on troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Responding to helpdesk tickets via phone, email, or support portal is an essential part of this role.
* Troubleshooting hardware and software issues requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Managing user accounts and permissions is crucial for maintaining network security.
* Assisting with system updates, antivirus scans, and patch management is vital for preventing cyber threats.
* Escalating complex issues to higher-tier support or specialized teams is necessary for ensuring timely resolution.
* Documenting issues, solutions, and support processes in knowledge bases is essential for continuous improvement.
* Setting up new workstations, user profiles, and access credentials requires strong organizational skills.
* Providing support for VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote access is critical for enabling remote work.
* Educating users on IT policies, procedures, and basic troubleshooting is essential for empowering employees.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support or customer service is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking is necessary for success in this role.
* A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred but not always required.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals can be valuable assets.
