Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Specialist to join our team at Smarttech247. This individual will play a pivotal role in the talent acquisition process, supporting recruitment efforts across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the USA.
The role will be hybrid, with three days on site in Cork.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with department heads for final stages.
2. HR Policies and Procedures: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HR policies and procedures.
3. Candidate Coordination: Coordinate interviews, both virtual and in-person, for candidates across multiple regions.
4. Onboarding and Offboarding: Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new and departing employees.
5. Employee Records and Compliance: Assist in maintaining employee records, HR systems, and ensuring compliance with regional HR regulations.
6. Reporting and Support: Provide support to the HR Manager and senior management, such as preparing reports, forecasting issues, and preparing business cases.
7. Talent Needs and Timelines: Collaborate with other departments to understand talent needs and timelines.
8. HR Queries: Handle HR-related queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background: A degree or strong background in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related fields.
2. Recruitment Experience: Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
3. People Skills: Enthusiasm for working with people and fostering positive relationships.
4. Time Management: Ability to balance multiple priorities and work in an agile environment.
5. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
7. Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-focused approach to tasks.
8. Global Knowledge: Knowledge of HR practices across multiple regions is a plus.
9. Cybersecurity Experience: Cybersecurity experience is an advantage but not required.
