At The Port House group of restaurants, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Assistant General Manager. You will play a key role in delighting our guests with the exceptional service for which we are known. As an Assistant General Manager, you will support the management team in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a busy restaurant environment, managing and experienced team in a busy Tapas restaurant while delivering first-class food and beverage service and outstanding customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position, working 45 per week.
Located South William Street, Port House offers a romantic underground vibe with booth seating over three floors along with outside seating allowing guests to enjoyg one of Dublin's coolest streets in the summer.
We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager for a Full Time role as part of our friendly team in The Port House
Together with the restaurant manager you will be responsible for ensuring a world class guest experience while ensuring the efficient running of all aspects of the restaurant.
This is a key role supporting the restaurant manager, with opportunities to grow and develop within the company.
Ideal candidates will have.
* Two years previous experience in a similar role or supervisor role
* Eligible to work at least 40 hours weekly i.e. Full-time hours
* Passion for customer service
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent knowledge of Tapas, port, wine & sherry
* Fluent verbal and written English
* An outgoing and friendly personality
