Job Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from ambitious Employment Solicitors to advance their careers in 2026 through lateral moves. Positions include Solicitor, Associate, Senior Associate, Of Counsel and Salary Partner in Employment. Clients are leading Irish and international firms in Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Kerry, London, and other provincial offices.
Qualifications / Experience
* 1-6+ years PQE in Irish Employment Law (Contentious & Non-Contentious)
* Irish, UK or Common Law qualified
* Employer side experience or trained with Tier 1/2/3 Ranked firms, top/mid or boutique Employment law firms in Ireland, Northern Ireland or the UK
* Experience with TUPE, corporate assistance in TUPE matters, corporate transactions and TUPE law
* Advising on a wide range of employment issues such as managing dismissals, defending High Court injunctions and WRC claims, workforce restructuring, discrimination, workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, performance management, enforceability of post-termination restrictive covenants, employment financial services regulatory issues, gender pay gap compliance, managing sickness absence and other day‑to‑day employment issues
* Claims before the WRC and Labour Court
* Guiding and advising clients through current and pending employment legislation and regulation, delivering pragmatic and flexible solutions
* Excellent technical knowledge of all current and impending Irish employment legislation and case law
Key Responsibilities
* Advise and represent clients on contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
* Support client investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management.
* Draft and review employment contracts, restrictive covenants, and post‑termination agreements.
* Provide guidance on compliance with statutory duties (e.g., gender pay gap reporting, sickness absence, WRC claims).
* Represent clients in WRC and Labour Court proceedings.
* Develop and deliver training and guidance on best practices in employment law.
