MIG Welding Robotic Operator/Programmer
* Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets
* Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required
* Support the training of new operators, troubleshooting and repair of robotic welding equipment as required
* Recommend design changes as required to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
* Develop in conjunction with the manufacturing team the weld drawings and weld matrices
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with MIG welding processes is essential
* A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical Engineering is essential
* Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable
* An apprenticeship or third level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirable
