The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for fire safety services. This role involves building strong client relationships, promoting compliance solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Utilize networking, cold calling, and digital channels to generate leads. Sales & Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Present and promote fire safety services, including risk assessments, fire alarms, extinguishers, and compliance solutions. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets. Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Provide expert advice on fire safety compliance and regulations. Market Research & Strategy: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity. Contribute to marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems. Prepare regular reports on performance and market insights. Person Specification: Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in fire safety, facilities management, or compliance services. Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards (training can be provided if necessary). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and meet targets in a competitive market. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Desirable: Knowledge of Irish fire safety legislation and building compliance requirements. Existing network within property management, construction, or commercial sectors. Qualifications: Minimum of Leaving Certificate; a degree in Business, Sales, or related field is advantageous. Fire safety training or certifications (preferred but not essential).
