This phase of growth includes operational expansion, property development and a strong commitment to digital transformation across all business units.Due to ongoing expansion and ambitious future plans, we are recruiting a forward-thinking Commercial Director to drive strategy, profitability and digital innovation across the Group.The Role – Commercial DirectorReporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a pivotal leadership position with full commercial responsibility across the Group's businesses.You will define strategic direction, lead financial planning and drive commercial performance — while also spearheading the Group's digital transformation agenda, ensuring systems, processes and technology support scalable growth and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Digital TransformationDefine and implement Group-wide commercial strategy in conjunction with the Managing DirectorLead digital transformation initiatives across sales, operations and financeIdentify and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, reporting and customer experienceDrive data-led decision-making through enhanced analytics and reporting systemsOversee ERP/CRM optimisation and system integration projectsEmbed a culture of innovation and continuous improvementSales & Market GrowthLead and support business development, sales and marketing teamsStrengthen existing client relationships and secure new business opportunitiesConduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunitiesEnsure positive brand positioning and public relationsLeverage digital marketing and CRM tools to enhance commercial performanceOperationsProvide leadership to Heads of Department and General ManagersEnsure strong cross-departmental collaboration across all businessesImplement KPI tracking, budget management and performance reporting systemsDrive process automation and operational efficienciesEnsure statutory compliance and governanceImprove profitability, customer satisfaction and staff retentionRecruit senior team members and participate in disciplinary processes when requiredFinance & GovernanceOversee financial management and maximise profitabilityDeliver performance in line with agreed financial budgetsLead capital funding initiatives and investment planningManage budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisOversee cash flow and risk managementNegotiate contracts with financial providers, legal advisors, suppliers and contractorsEnsure strong compliance and corporate governance frameworksImplement financial systems that support real-time reporting and strategic oversightLocationThe role is based between Collooney and Castledargan Resort, Co.
